Michelle Yeoh has joined the star-studded cast of Jon M. Chu’s 2-part musical adaptation of ‘Wicked.’
Yeoh will take on the role of Madame Morrible, the headmistress of Crage Hall at Shiz University. She joins Ariana Grande who takes on the role of Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
‘Bridgerton’ star Jonathan Bailey will play Fiyero and Broadway veteran Ethan Slater, who scored a Tony nomination for ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical,’ will take on the role of Boq.

Jeff Goldblum continues to be in talks to play the Wizard, but a final deal has not been signed, according to sources.
The story is a prequel to ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ telling the story of how Elphaba turned into the Wicked Witch of the West and how Glinda became the Good Witch.
The films are set for release on Christmas in 2024 and 2025.
