Universal Pictures has today released the highly anticipated teaser trailer for ‘Michael’ — the sweeping cinematic portrayal of the life and legacy of Michael Jackson, one of the most influential artists the world has ever known.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer franchise), ‘Michael’ takes audiences on an intimate and powerful journey through Jackson’s extraordinary life — from his early days as the child prodigy leading The Jackson Five, to his transformation into the visionary global superstar who redefined music, dance, and pop culture forever.

The film delves beyond the spotlight, exploring the man behind the music, his creative drive, and the personal struggles that came with his pursuit of perfection. Featuring breathtaking recreations of some of Jackson’s most iconic early solo performances, Michael offers an immersive front-row experience into the making of a legend — and the cost of greatness.

The biopic stars Jaafar Jackson, nephew of the late artist, in his feature film debut, embodying his uncle’s unmistakable charisma and artistry. The film also features Nia Long (Empire, The Best Man franchise), Laura Harrier (BlacKkKlansman, Spider-Man: Homecoming), Juliano Krue Valdi (The Loud House, Arco), Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick, Whiplash), and two-time Academy Award® nominee Colman Domingo (Sing Sing, Rustin).
