The epic action espionage game from 2008, Metal Gear Solid 4 — at long last is getting Trophy support this August according to a report from website Andriasang.com.

A budget release of the title is being released in Japan come August that will have trophy support out of the box.  Those who already own MGS4 will be able to download a patch and will probably coincide with the aforementioned budget release.  No set date has been revealed for this patch however.  In other related news Konami is holding a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary event in Tokyo on August 30th where an announcement for the series will be made according to Kojima.
