Mckenna Grace is heading back into the world of mystery, monsters, and meddling kids. The actor has officially joined Netflix’s upcoming live-action ‘Scooby-Doo’ series, where she will portray a young Daphne Blake in a story exploring how the iconic Mystery Inc. gang first came together.
The project is described as a modern reimagining of the beloved cartoon, rewinding the clock to a formative summer filled with secrets, supernatural whispers, and the kind of creeping dread that hides behind sunny campfire smoke.
According to the official logline, the story unfolds during the group’s final summer at camp. Old friends Shaggy and Daphne become entangled in a haunting mystery tied to a lonely, lost Great Dane puppy that may have witnessed a supernatural murder.
