Deep breath Maze Runner fans: production on the third installment, The Death Cure, is to resume production in February after being postponed earlier in the year due to an injury to the film’s lead Dylan O’Brien.

The film had due to be released on February 17th 2017, but production was postponed after the injury to O’Brien during an action set-piece in March which left the actor with some severe injuries. Thankfully the star has made a full recovery now and the film can continue.

Directed by Wes Ball, the man behind the first two films, The Death Cure co-stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Dexter Darden, Rose Salazar and Barry Pepper and is based on the novels b James Dashner.

The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is set for release on January 12th, 2018.
