Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for its upcoming original drama series ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles,’ a bold, heartfelt and comedic family story led by an all-star cast including Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman.

Based on the bestselling novel by Rufi Thorpe, the eight-episode series blends humour, family chaos and emotional resilience as it follows a young woman trying to survive adulthood when life throws every curveball imaginable.

At the centre of the story is Margo (Fanning), a recent college dropout and aspiring writer navigating life as a single mother. With a newborn baby, a mountain of bills and very few ways to keep the lights on, Margo must get creative just to stay afloat.

Her unconventional upbringing doesn’t make things easier. She’s the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress played by Pfeiffer and an eccentric former professional wrestler played by Emmy Award winner Nick Offerman. As Margo struggles to balance motherhood, ambition and financial survival, the series explores how family, desperation and determination collide in unexpectedly funny and moving ways.

The ensemble cast also includes Thaddea Graham, Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.

The series hails from acclaimed creator David E. Kelley and is produced by A24. Kelley serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer alongside Fanning, Dakota Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures; Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films; and Matthew Tinker for David E. Kelley Productions.

Additional executive producers include Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson and Boo Killebrew. The pilot episode is directed by BAFTA and Emmy Award winner Dearbhla Walsh, who also serves as an executive producer.
