Man-of-Steel-PosterZack Snyder’s Man of Steel can’t come fast enough. We’ve got just over a month left on the clock before it hits theatres, and that’s definitely one month too long in my books.

Henry Cavill will be front and centre for the blockbuster as the Man of Steel himself, and everything we’ve seen from the Superman reboot so far says it’s going to be incredible.

Last week brought with it an awesome new poster and TV spot, and most recently a brilliant new banner. And now Warner Bros. have debuted the third thirty-second spot, giving us another epic look at Snyder’s movie.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Cavill is joined by an awesome ensemble, starring alongside Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Richard Schiff, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, and Laurence Fishburne.

Snyder is directing from a script penned by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy), who co-wrote the story with frequent collaborator Christopher Nolan.

Man of Steel will be hitting theatres in 2D, 3D, IMAX 2D, and IMAX 3D on June 14th in the US and UK. If you weren’t already, now is definitely the time to get excited. This has ‘Film of the Year’ written all over it.
