Netflix has made the long-awaited announcement of the return of the sci-fi reboot ‘Lost In Space’ alongside a trailer in which the search is on for the beloved robot.
The second season will launch on the streaming platform on December 24th (a nice early Christmas present for you die-hard fans) and will see the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot. The Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists, but they quickly find all is not as it seems.
The new season introduces a series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri.
Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio and Parker Posey all reprise their roles while JJ Feild has joined the cast in the recurring guest role of AI specialist Ben Adler.
