To celebrate the release of Little Voice, the latest original series from Apple TV+, we sat down with its cast to discuss the show and the power of music in these uncertain times.

Described as “the universal journey of finding your authentic voice in your early 20s. It is described as a fresh, intensely romantic tale of the search to find your true voice…and then the courage to use it.”, Little Voice takes its cue from the music of Sara Bareilles, the American singer-songwriter. Directed by Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, the show is a love-letter to the power of music, chasing your dreams and New York City.

O’Grady, who plays the show’s lead Bess, fell in love with the story when she first read it – as did Teale and Ryan – and told us about how she hopes the show’s messages and power help to transport people in these strange times, as well as providing some fuel for those who are still chasing their dreams and that anything is possible.
