MetFilm Distribution has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Lady,’ the offbeat British comedy from BAFTA-nominated writer-director Samuel Abrahams. The film is set to arrive in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 3 July.

The feature marks Abraham’s debut narrative film following his acclaimed work on projects such as ‘Connect’ and ‘Offline Dating.’ With its sharp satirical edge, ‘Lady’ explores the strange lengths people will go to in their pursuit of attention and validation.

The film stars Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island), Laurie Kynaston (How to Build a Girl, Fool Me Once) and Juliet Cowan (Back to Black, Am I Being Unreasonable?).

At the centre of the story is a lonely yet deeply self-absorbed aristocrat who convinces a struggling filmmaker to document her every move. What begins as an eccentric vanity project soon spirals into stranger territory when her hunger for attention collides with an unexpected supernatural twist. As her obsession with being watched intensifies, she begins to experience something truly bizarre: she is gradually becoming invisible.

Through its increasingly surreal premise, ‘Lady’ pokes fun at the fragile relationship between identity, performance and visibility in a world that constantly demands an audience.
