From the 2017 Toronto Film Festival we present our favourite moments from the press conference for Chris Moukarbel’s documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two featuring the irrepressible Lady Gaga.

The film stars Lady Gaga, Florence Welch, Mark Ronson and Bobby Campbell among a cosmos of music luminaries who contributed to the film. This documentary goes behind the scenes with pop provocateur Lady Gaga as she releases a bold new album and prepares for her Super Bowl halftime show.

Speaking of the nature of the documentary at today’s press conference Lady Gaga said, “The most important thing to me in this whole process was this film didn’t come across like a big commercial for me.” She also talks about the level of access she gave to Moukarbel and his crew. It deals heavily with the side of the business that her fans rarely get to see, and talks about channeling her emotions, both good and bad, saying “There is an element and a very strong piece of me that believes that pain is a microphone.”

You can see highlights from the press conference below, the film is released on the 22nd of September across the world.
