We had the pleasure in speaking to Asher Angel and Paris Berelc chat about starring together in Kissing Is the Easy Part, a fresh, modern take on the classic high school rom-com.

The duo explain why the script won them over, how their long friendship made filming seamless, and why their on-screen chemistry felt so natural. They also discuss flipping traditional rom-com dynamics, gently lampooning Gen Z slang like “rizz”, and keeping the tone playful rather than mean-spirited. Later, they open up about growing up in the industry, what alternative careers they might have pursued, and the advice they’d give their younger selves — including “be present” and “prepare for the strikes.” A fun, honest and charming conversation with two stars who clearly adore working together.
