Selected as the closing night film for this year’s London Film Festival Danny Boyle’s film on the life and times of tech deity Steve Jobs comes to UK cinemas next week. With a whip-smart Aaron Sorkin script and a cast comprising of Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels this is the very definition of a must-see film.

We’ll be publishing interviews for the film throughout the next few days and we start with Kate Winslet, who appears in the film as Joanna Hoffman, a close companion to Jobs for many years beginning as part the original Macintosh team.

James Kleinmann sat down with Winslet to talk through her role, the forensic attention the cast had to pay to the Sorkin dialogue and re-creating Joanna Hoffman through a labyrinth of accent and dialogue training. And how Bananarama helped to influence the 80s look.

Here’s the video, you can check out our other interviews below and read our review of the film here.
