Kate McKinnon is the latest name to jump on board Margot Robbie’s ‘Barbie Movie’ in an undisclosed role.
The move sees McKinnon reuniting with Robbie who takes on the role of the titular character, Ryan Gosling will play the role of Ken.
Greta Gerwig will direct the feature. Co-written by Gerwig and Marriage Story’s Noah Baumbach, plot details are currently under wraps.
Robbie also serves as a producer on the movie under her LuckyChap Entertainment banner, which produced last year’s ‘Promising Young Woman.’ Other Producers also include LuckyChap’s Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara; Mattel’s Robbie Brenner and Ynon Kreiz; and David Heyman.

McKinnon will next star in Peacock series ‘Joe vs. Carole,’ playing ‘Tiger King’ personality Carole Baskin
The film is set to start Production at Leavesden Studios in London and is set for a 2023 release.
