‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Jumanji’ actress, Karen Gillan, is set to take the lead role in the upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘Dual’.
Aaron Paul, Beulah Koale, Martha Kelly and Jesse Eisenberg will also star alongside Gillan.
Gillan will play a terminally ill woman who opts for a cloning procedure to ease her loss on her friends and family.
When she makes a miraculous recovery, her attempts to have her clone (also played by Gillan) decommissioned fail and lead to a court-mandated duel to the death.

Riley Stearns will write and helm the project and will produce alongside XYZ Films.
Gillan was last seen in the ‘Jumanji’ sequel ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ alongside Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Kevin Hart. She will next be seen in spy thriller ‘Gunpowder Milkshake’ alongside Angela Bassett, Lena Headey and Paul Giamatti.
Paul is currently starring in the third season of ‘Westworld’. He was last seen in ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’.
Eisenberg was last seen reprising his role in ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ alongside Emma Stone and Woody Harrelson. He can currently be seen in sci-fi thriller ‘Vivarium’ alongside Imogen Poots.
