Trolls finds the perfect blend between irreverence and cynicism, and we sat down with the two characters who provide both of those two traits, Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, to mark the release of this entertaining animation.
Ignoring the fact I had pink glittery lipstick on (a very persuasive, Troll-happy make-up artist to blame) – we discussed JT making a film his son can watch, and his method penning the song Can’t Stop the Feeling, for the film’s soundtrack. Meanwhile Anna comments on the making of the film, and how the optimism of the film’s protagonists rubbed off on all of those involved.
