‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Justin Chambers has had an offer he can’t refuse, to play legendary actor Marlon Brando in the upcoming limited series ‘The Offer.’

The series will follow the behind the scenes drama of the making of the iconic 1972. Hammer will play the role of Al Ruddy, who produced ‘The Godfather’. Based on Ruddy’s experiences alongside director Francis Ford Coppola, author Mario Puzo and producer Robert Evans. The series will include previously unrevealed experiences Ruddy had in making the picture.

Chambers joins Miles Teller who will play producer Al Ruddy, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn, Patrick Gallo as Mario Puzo, Josh Zuckerman as Peter Bart, Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus, and Lou Ferrigno as Lenny Montana.

Dexter Fletcher will direct the first and last block of the series. Michael Tolkin has created the series and will serve as showrunner, Al Ruddy will also serve as an executive producer on the series. Tolkin will also serve as executive producer alongside Nikki Toscano, who penned the script and Leslie Grief. Paramount Television Studios will produce.

‘The Offer’ was one of several high-profile projects announced when ViacomCBS revealed they were rebranding the streaming service CBS All Access to Paramount Plus back in September.

Chambers played Alex Karev in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ for 15 years before his departure, he has also starred in ‘The Wedding Planner’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘New York Undercover’ and ‘Another World.’
