Director Zack Snyder, took to his social media yesterday to release a clip from the upcoming Snyder Cut version of Justice League.

The clip shows Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman discovering an artefact with a voice-over that sounds like Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) offering a warning before we get a glimpse of Darkseid on a battlefield.

Last month, HBO Max confirmed that the Snyder cut does actually exist and it will get its big debut on the new streaming service in 2021.

The long wait for the long-called version will be down to Snyder reuniting with the post-production crew to score, cut and finish visual effects. It is also speculated that some of the cast may reunite to record additional dialogue with a cost that could reach up to 30 Million Dollars.

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons and Amy Adams the movie saw Bruce Wayne, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, enlisting the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
