Rumour has it that Josh Gad’s next big project has Hollywood circling in the hopes of picking it up after writers Aaron and Jordan Kandell joined the picture which already has Luke Evans and Daisy Ridley attached.

Gad’s project is being sold as a character-driven comedy that takes an original spin on the superhero genre which he developed at his Angry Child Productions label.

Josh Gad had interviewed a number of writers before sealing a deal with the Kandell’s who had previously worked on Disney’s Moana. He has also acquired the services of his fellow Disney actor from Beauty and the Beast, Luke Evans after the pair were inseparable as Gaston and LeFou. Gad has also recently worked alongside Ridley in 20th Century Fox’s reboot of Murder on the Orient Express.

Gad has been a busy little bee; he also stars in today’s release of Thurgood Marshall Biopic, Marshall in which he plays a bumbling Jewish lawyer who falls’s into representing a wrongly accused African American alongside Thurgood.

Ridley will next be seen in the next highly anticipated Star War’s film, The Last Jedi, Whilst Evans has been doing the rounds on the London Film Festival in his latest production, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women in another biopic about the man who created the beloved Wonder Woman comics and the fairly kinky lifestyle he leads which inspired the inspirational female superhero.
