Jon Hamm, star of Mad Men, looks set to star in Jennifer Westfeldt’s upcoming dramedy Friends With Kids, with the couple “hopeful” that Kristen Wiig and Anne Hathaway will join the cast.
Details on Friends With Kids are thin on the ground, but Westfeldt and Hamm previewed the script with a reading at the Vassar & New York Stage and Film’s Powerhouse Theater event.
Friends With Kids has most likely been set up at Hamm and Westfeldt’s production company, Points West Pictures.
Despite information being sparse, the project has huge potential, especially if Westfeldt can score the fantastic cast she’s hoping for.
