Lionsgate have just dropped the new trailer for the latest in their hitman with a grudge movie series, John Wick Chapter 2, and it’s just as bullet heavy as ever.
Keanu Reeves leads our film once more with Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Franco Nero, John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane all joining him for the eagerly-awaited sequel.
And yes – that’s right – Neo and Morpheus from The Matrix are reuniting. Will this set off a hundred fan theories based around the fact that John Wick is really some sort of futuristic training programme? No. No, it won’t.
The action moves to Europe for the sequel, and from the carnage witnessed in this new trailer Wick’s wick has been thoroughly gotten on. Reeves’ laconic hitman has a certain style, and the familiar faces and all out gunplay should be enough to stretch out the character in the new movie.
