20th Century Studios has unveiled the official trailer for Scott Cooper’s highly anticipated film ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,’ a powerful chronicle of the making of Bruce Springsteen’s landmark 1982 album Nebraska. The film will arrive in UK cinemas on October 24.

Based on Warren Zanes’ acclaimed book of the same name and adapted for the screen by Cooper, the film dives into one of the most pivotal chapters of Springsteen’s life and career. Far from the stadium-filling sound that made him a global icon, Nebraska was recorded on a simple 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom. The stripped-back, acoustic record captured a haunting portrait of American life—songs of desperate characters searching for meaning, reflecting Springsteen’s own inner struggles.

Jeremy Allen White takes on the role of Bruce Springsteen, bringing intensity and vulnerability to a man at the crossroads of fame and personal reckoning. An impressive ensemble joins him: Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s confidant and manager Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser as loyal guitar tech Mike Batlan, Odessa Young as Faye, Stephen Graham as Springsteen’s stern father Doug, Gaby Hoffman as his mother Adele, and David Krumholtz as Columbia Records executive Al Teller.

With its evocative trailer now released, ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ promises an intimate exploration of creativity, solitude, and the search for truth behind one of music’s most enduring records.

The film is directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Hostiles), whose reputation for character-driven storytelling and atmospheric filmmaking makes him a natural fit for Springsteen’s stark and soulful tale.
