Lionsgate has recently released the international trailer for Jason Statham’s upcoming detective/serial killer thriller, Blitz…as in Blitzkrieg. The film, which is due out in 2011, follows Statham, a cop who has been dispatched “to take down a serial killer who has been targeting police officers.”
The London thriller also stars Richard Riddell, David Morrissey, Luke Evans, Paddy Considine and Aidan Gillen. It is directed by Elliot Lester and adapted by Nathan Parker (Moon) from a novel by Ken Bruen.
This movie is probably not going to be the greatest thing in the world, but it will definitely be a revenge fueled thrill ride that is sure to leave action junkies satisfied. I mean lets be honest here, it’s Jason Statham doing what he does best: Kicking ass without having to take names. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think of the trailer.
