‘The Perfect Couple’ star, Jack Reynor, has been cast in Lee Cronin’s version of ‘The Mummy.’
Whilst plot details are currently under wraps, Reynor is said to be taking on the role of a husband and father who runs afoul of supernaturally sinister forces.
New Line Cinema is behind the feature that see’s Atomic Monster and Blumhouse producing. Doppelgängers, the banner run by Cronin, who previously made horror hit Evil Dead Rise for New Line, is also producing.

Written and directed by Cronin, the producers on the movie are James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville. Executive producing are Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Macdara Kelleher. Alayna Glasthal is the executive overseeing the project for Atomic Monster.
Cronin has previously stated the film “will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before. I’m digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening.”
Production is due to commence next week in Ireland. It currently has a release date of April 17th, 2026.
