Here’s some good news for those out there who are missing their regular Jack Bauer testosterone fix. Deadline is reporting that Kiefer Sutherland may be in the process of being lured back to Fox. The actor is currently in negotiations to star in drama pilot Touch.

Created by Tim Kring, the phrase “high concept” definitely applies here. Touch concerns a father (the potential part for Sutherland) who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen.

Sounds like an ungodly mix of The Dead Zone and Mercury Rising, with a smattering of Kring’s own Heroes in there for good measure.

TV veteran Charles McDougall, (responsible for the pilots to Desperate Housewives, The Good Wife and Fox’s recent venture, The Chicago Code) is in talks to direct.
