We’ve seen so many brilliant things from the film already. In the past few days, alone, we’ve seen the first clip, and a great new TV spot debut. And now a new featurette has been released, giving us another look behind the scenes of what promises to be one of the year’s biggest and best films.
Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Robert Downey, Jr. reprises his role once more as Tony Stark / Iron Man. And starring alongside him is a brilliant cast, led by Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Wang Xueqi, and Fan Bingbing, with Paul Bettany reprising his role as the voice of JARVIS.
Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) is directing from a script he co-wrote with Drew Pearce.
Iron Man 3 will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on 25th April here in the UK, with its US release date following a week later on May 3rd. This is going to be absolutely epic. Whilst we eagerly await its arrival, here’s the new featurette to get you in the mood.
