Screen Shot 2014-04-02 at 18.08.00With an eclectic range of impressive feature films to his name, director Darren Aronofsky is now trying his hand at something a little more ambitious – as his latest picture Noah, is certainly the biggest project both in scope – and budget –  that he’s undertaken.

We were fortunate enough to sit down with Aronofsky to discuss his production, delving into the caution taken when approaching a film with such religious themes, and his thoughts on the film being banned in several countries. He also talks about the pertinence of this tale, why he cast Russell Crowe – and how he went about implementing his own unique brand and style of filmmaking, into this broader scaled production.

Noah is released on April 4, and you can read our review here.
