Set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy explores the origins of the Bene Gesserit. While plot details for Season 2 remain under wraps, Season 1 followed “two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled order that will become known as the Bene Gesserit,” according to the official description.
Inspired by the novel ‘Sisterhood of Dune’ by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, the series delves into the political, spiritual, and power dynamics of the Dune universe long before the events of Frank Herbert’s iconic saga.
