To celebrate the release of In The Lost Lands, which comes to UK cinemas this week, we had the pleasure of sitting down with one of the stars of the film, and its director, to find out more.

IN THE LOST LANDS centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich) to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon.

Chatting to Jovovich and Anderson, we talk the lure of martin’s short story and why it made for perfect cinematic fodder, the long process of development and on-off production delays, utilising realistic CGI that allowed the actors to watch themselves “inside” the world on screen, the fight sequences, training, working with Dave Bautista – who both say is the nicest man in Hollywood – as well as the scope and scale of the film that needs to be seen on the big-screen.
