A24 has debuted a teaser trailer for Spike Lee‘s reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s classic ‘High and Low,’ ‘Highest 2 Lowest.’
The original film follows Toshiro Mifune as a shoe company executive who is extorted after his chauffeur’s son is kidnapped by mistake and held for ransom. Lee has previously stated his project is a reinterpretation.
Coming from Academy Award-winning writer/director Spike Lee, the cast includes Denzel Washington, Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and A$AP Rocky.
