It’s been 10 years since Nick Frost made his cinematic debut with Shaun of the Dead, the first of many collaborations with Simon Pegg. The former Spaced actor has come a long way since then, appearing in animated fare such as The Adventures of Tintin in addition to big budget blockbusters like Snow White and the Huntsman. Cuban Fury sees him take up a leading role for the first time as Bruce Garrett, whom over the course of the film rediscovers his passion for salsa.
We caught up with the actor ahead of the film’s UK release this week, and in our chat Frost speaks about the backstory he gave his character, who would win in a dance off with Pegg, and past mistakes he’d love a chance to correct.
