Hari Nef is interviewed for the movie Assassination Nation which is both written and directed by Sam Levinson. The film stars Odessa Young, Bella Thorne, Hari Nef, Suki Waterhouse and IT’s Bill Skarsgård.
Nef talks about what men say about this movie, and how the representations of teenage girls were very real – that the profanity, the sex and the drugs feel like the R-Rated lives they lead. She also talks about the prejudice she had against the writer/director Sam Levinson and what they worked out on set. She also talks about the intelligent way the film deals with politics, sexuality and mindfulness in dealing with the chaos of the modern world.
