It seems like we have had to wait for an age to see the first trailer for the latest outing in the Halloween franchise. Even though it debuted in April at CinemaCon, the team behind the horror have now deemed the public worthy.

Directed by David Gordon Green, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride. The eleventh film in the franchise picks up forty years after the events of the original film while disregarding the continuity of the previous sequels. The original film’s director, John Carpenter also lent hand as a consultant as well as creating the score.

Jamie Lee-Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer plays Karen Strode and James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle as Michael Myers / The Shape. Also on the cast are Andi Matichak, Will Patton and Virginia Gardner.
