Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures continue to tease the titular monster’s appearance in Godzilla, and while we have seen a few good shots of him in recent TV spots and stills such as the one above, we’re yet to truly see the beast in action against the military or the mysterious MUTO.

Unsurprisingly, this first clip from Godzilla is sure to have you on the edge of your seat as we catch only a brief glimpse of the beast as he rises from the ocean and the Navy attacks. It’s a gripping 90 seconds of footage, and will leave you chomping at the bit to see what happens next.

The studio have high hopes for Godzilla and with analysts predicting an opening of million of more in North America, the popularity of the icon overseas is sure to help propel the remake to huge levels of success. Early reactions have also been overwhelmingly positive.
