Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of Jane Eyre benefits from two fine performances from its leads, the ever excellent Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska, and what the director has managed to bring to the screen with a real potency is the complex relationship between the two.

Charlotte Brontë’s work has been adapted for screens big and small and each has tried to find its own voice and Fukanaga’s is steady but impassioned and is well worth a watch, something our review (due up on the site shortly) and this exclusive clip will hopefully convey.

The DVD and Blu-ray is out now and while I’m not a fan of chopping up films in order to convince people to buy it I was tickled by this clip, and I’m hopeful you will be too

Here’s the exclusive clip, I’m not even going to entertain the notion of adding a spoiler warning to this,

And is if to prove our undying love you to dear Reader, we’ve got this rather nice location report/behind the scenes video from Skinny Wrist.
