A new trailer has arrived for ‘Giant,’ the highly anticipated biopic chronicling the extraordinary life of legendary British-Yemeni boxing champion Prince Naseem Hamed. Executive produced by Sylvester Stallone, the film explores Hamed’s rise from humble beginnings in Sheffield to becoming a global sporting icon in the 1990s.

‘Giant’ tells the inspiring rags-to-riches story of Prince Naseem “Naz” Hamed, charting his journey inside and outside the boxing ring. At its heart is the tender and unlikely relationship between Naz and his Irish trainer, Brendan Ingle, portrayed by Pierce Brosnan, who played a pivotal role in shaping Hamed into a world champion.

Amir El-Masry (The Night Manager, Limbo, The Crown, SAS: Rogue Heroes) stars as Hamed, bringing both the athleticism and charm of the boxing legend to life. Pierce Brosnan (James Bond franchise, Mamma Mia!, The Love Punch) embodies Brendan Ingle, the dedicated trainer whose mentorship was instrumental in Hamed’s success.

Written and directed by Rowan Athale (Gangs of London), and with Sylvester Stallone as executive producer, ‘Giant’ will be in cinemas from January 9.
