Everyone seems to want to get in on the Stephen King adaptations at the moment. The next on the list to hit Netflix at the end of September is Gerald’s Game for which a brand new trailer is available.
Based on the Stephen King novel, the film depicts a married couple trying to spice up their lives but after a bit of kinky role playing goes wrong, Gerald dies while his wife is handcuffed to the bed. Scared witless Jessie slowly loses her mind while trapped with no help in sight.
Directed by Mike Flanagan, who also takes writing credit alongside Jeff Howard and Stephen King, the film also stars Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood.
Gerald’s Game will be available from September 29th
