So many rumours have been circling the interwebs about Wonder Woman joining Batman and Superman in the new Zack Snyder movie and now we have confirmation. Snyder has confirmed that actress Gal Gadot who you may recognise from the Fast and Furious franchise will play the role and here’s a statement from Snyder below.
Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.
This is another clear signal that Man of Steel was the first step to a big screen Justice League and the casting of Gadot, who’s best known for her Fast and Furious role but who also turned in a memorable performance in 2010’s Date Night
as Natanya, the Israeli girlfirend of Holbrooke (Mark Wahlberg).
