Netflix has released the first full-length trailer for Gravity director, Alfonso Cuarón’s semi-autobiographical feature, Roma.
The film – which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival later this month – is shot in beautifully shot in black and white. It follows a young domestic worker Cleo in the ‘70s who has a hard time fitting in within her own community and faces social and economic prejudices.

Roma Synopsis
ROMA follows Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio), a young domestic worker for a family in the middle-class neighbourhood of Roma in Mexico City. Delivering an artful love letter to the women who raised him, Cuarón draws on his own childhood to create a vivid and emotional portrait of domestic strife and social hierarchy amidst political turmoil of the 1970s.
