2010’s Easy A won director Will Gluck a lot of fans and if his name wasn’t attached to this film there’s little chance that I’d care much for another round of Pretty People Shagging and Learning About Life, or as this one is called Friends With Benefits.
It does have a pretty great cast with Emma Stone reuniting with the director and Justin Timberlake ad Mila Kunis stepping up to lead the whole shebang. The synopsis looks a little sorry for itself however,
The relationship between two friends (Kunis and Timberlake) gets complicated when they decide to get romantic.
I know – don’t all rush at once. But hold, fellow cynic, take a while to watch the new trailer and then decided whether Gluck’s brand of sass and sauce will benefit from the leading duo of Timberlake and Kunis.
Synopsis: The relationship between two friends gets complicated when they decide to get romantic. Dylan (Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis) think it’s going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship, despite what the Hollywood romantic comedies would have them believe. They soon discover however that getting physical really does always lead to complications!
Friends with Benefits is released 9th September.
