Following last week’s new trailer for Hotel Transylvania, Sony’s upcoming animated family comedy, we got two new images of Selena Gomez’s Mavis, in both human and adorable little bat form.

The studio have released another three images, giving us another look at Mavis in the company of Adam Sandler’s Dracula (her father), Andy Samberg’s Jonathan (the love interest), Kevin James’ Frankenstein, David Spade’s Griffin (The Invisible Man), and Cee-Lo Green’s Murray the Mummy, and what looks to be a couple of wolves.

“Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s (Adam Sandler) lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them.  On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters – Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more – to celebrate his daughter Mavis’s 118th birthday.  For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem – but his world could come crashing down when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.”

Genndy Tartakovsky, creator/director of Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Lab, is behind the helm for this, with the voice cast headed up by Sandler, Gomez, Samberg, James, Spade, and Green alongside Steve Buscemi, Jon Lovitz, Fran Drescher, and Molly Shannon.

Hotel Transylvania will be released in 3D in the US on 21st September, followed by a slightly later UK release on 12th October. As usual with the new images, you can click to enlarge.

(Is it just me, or does Mavis slightly remind you of a gothic version of Violet in The Incredibles? In a good way.)
