Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have released a new trailer for ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,’ teasing the next chapter in their record-breaking horror saga. The trailer promises a darker, deadlier return to Freddy Fazbear’s world, warning: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”
Blumhouse’s ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ became the box-office horror phenomenon of 2023, terrifying audiences around the globe and becoming the highest-grossing horror film of the year. Now, the nightmare continues in a blood-chilling sequel that raises the stakes — and the screams.
Based on Scott Cawthon’s massively popular video game series, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ is directed by returning filmmaker Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon), who once again brings Freddy and his haunted animatronic crew to life with spine-tingling precision.
The first film shattered expectations, opening to a record-breaking $80 million and grossing nearly $300 million worldwide. It followed Mike, a troubled young man desperate to hold on to custody of his sister, who accepts a night security job at the eerie Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria — only to find himself trapped in a supernatural nightmare he can’t escape.
