The four-and-a-half-minute short sees Maggie returning to the Ayn Rand School for Tots, having been there already way back in season 4 in the episode, A Streetcar Named Marge – essentially, expect good things.
If you were on the fence about a fourth Ice Age film (which I’m thinking won’t do as well as its predecessor, if only because The Dark Knight Rises is released a week later), then The Longest Daycare looks like a deal-sealer. Because let’s be honest, who can’t resist the brilliance of Maggie Simpson?
The Longest Daycare will be attached to Ice Age: Continental Drift, both hitting theatres on wide release on 13th July, next Friday. And if you can’t wait that long, then check your local cinema’s listings, because the UK is getting another advanced screening this Saturday and Sunday.
