Co-written by and starring Marlon Wayans (Scary Movie, White Chicks), A Haunted House is promising to be another great entry in the spoof-comedy genre, taking the ever-popular Paranormal Activity as its starting-off point.
We caught the first trailer last month, giving us a good first look at the found footage horror comedy, and now the first poster has debuted over at Fandango.
“Young couple Malcolm and Kisha have just moved in to their dream house. As they settle in, they quickly find they’re not alone. But it’s not the house that’s haunted, it’s Malcolm’s girlfriend who is possessed by a demon. Malcolm hires everyone from a priest to modern day ghostbusters to rid her of this unwelcome intruder, determined not to let the evil spirit ruin his relationship… or, more importantly, his sex life.”
Wayans stars alongside Essence Atkins, Nick Swardson, Cedric the Entertainer, David Koechner, Affion Crockett, and Dave Sheridan, with director Michael Tiddes making his feature debut, directing from a script penned by Wayans and Rick Alvarez, also making his feature debut.
A Haunted House will be released on 11th January, 2013. Still no word yet on if/when the film will be reaching our shores in the UK, but here’s to hoping that we’ll be seeing it around the same time. For now, here’s the first poster, which you can click through to enlarge.
