Disney+ has officially announced the return of the critically acclaimed drama ‘A Thousand Blows’ from Emmy-nominated creator Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders).
Following the explosive first season, fans can expect another gripping chapter filled with revenge, redemption, and ruthless ambition as Malachi Kirby (Small Axe) returns as Hezekiah Moscow, reuniting with Erin Doherty (Adolescence) as Mary Carr, and Stephen Graham (Adolescence) as the formidable Sugar Goodson.
A Brutal Fight for Power Continues
Set in the brutal East End of London in the 1880s, ‘A Thousand Blows’ season 2 picks up one year later. Hezekiah is a shadow of his former self, and Sugar Goodson, estranged from his family, is drowning in drink and despair. Just as Wapping faces ruin, Mary Carr storms back into town, accompanied by her loyal second, Alice Diamond, determined to rebuild her gang and reclaim her crown.
But Mary’s new plan is bolder and more dangerous than ever—dragging everyone she loves into a perilous game of power, betrayal, and survival.
