Prime Video has released the first-look images and confirmed the premiere date for its upcoming thriller series, ‘Harlan Coben’s Lazarus.’ All six episodes will land on the platform globally on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, giving fans of the best-selling author another dark and gripping mystery to unravel.

The series marks a new collaboration between Harlan Coben and BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst, who previously teamed up on hit adaptations Fool Me Once and Stay Close. This time, they bring to life an original story idea that dives deep into trauma, memory, and the ghosts of the past.

At the centre of the story is Joel Lazarus (Sam Claflin), who returns home after the shocking suicide of his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (played by the legendary Bill Nighy). But grief is only the beginning. Joel starts to experience disturbing and inexplicable visions that lead him into the heart of a chilling mystery — one that ties together his father’s death and the unsolved murder of his sister, which has haunted the family for 25 years.

Joining Claflin and Nighy in the cast are Alexandra Roach as Joel’s sister Jenna Lazarus, David Fynn as family friend Seth McGovern, Karla Crome as Bella Catton, and Kate Ashfield as Detective Alison Brown, who finds herself pulled into Joel’s spiralling investigation.

Produced by Quay Street Productions (part of ITV Studios), the series is executive produced by Coben, Brocklehurst, BAFTA-winner Nicola Shindler (It’s A Sin, Nolly), Richard Fee (Fool Me Once, The Stranger), and Claflin himself.

The newly released images offer a tantalising first glimpse into the eerie world of Lazarus, teasing tension-filled family confrontations, unsettling discoveries, and the creeping sense that the past is never really buried.
