Hereafter centers on three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London school boy — who are touched by death in different ways.
Clint Eastwood, who refers to Hereafter as “my chick flick”, directed the film from a script by Peter Morgan, who previously scribed The Queen.
Starring alongside Damon and Howard are Lyndsey Marshal, Richard Kind, George McClaren, Cecile DeFrance and Frankie McClaren.
Although the image doesn’t give us much of an insight into the film, it does give hope that, with the film’s US release fast approaching, a trailer should be revealed imminently.

Hereafter is scheduled to hit cinemas in the US on October 22. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
