Apple TV has revealed a thrilling first look and the official premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of ‘Hijack,’ starring and executive produced by SAG Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Idris Elba (Luther).

Created by George Kay (Lupin, Criminal) and Jim Field Smith (Criminal, Litvinenko), the hit real-time thriller returns for its eight-episode second season on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with the first two episodes debuting globally on Apple TV, followed by new episodes released weekly through February 25, 2026.

In the high-stakes new season, the tension shifts from the skies to the subterranean depths of Berlin, where a packed underground train and its commuters are taken hostage.
