From all the reports, it appears to be a case of the less known about the film’s content, the better, but it’s a tale of how appearances can be deceptive in the online age, as filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost follow the story of Ariel’s brother Nev after he receives an e-mail from a young girl who wants his permission to paint a portrait of him from a picture she’s seen in the web.
Catfish will make its UK screen debut at the BFI London Film Festival this month, before going on general release on 17th December.
