We all know by now that in the next instalment of the Fast and Furious insanely successful franchise the family is broken, maybe beyond repair, with Dom (Vin Diesel) turning his back on the brotherhood he used to love. To set that notion firmly in stone a new poster has been released which shows the divide.

A horde of cars grace the poster on thick ice accompanied by a gigantic submarine crashing through the ice – chasing which is assumed to be a lone car driven by Dom himself. However, the stand out, all telling section of the poster is the F8 emblazoned at the top, with Dom (Vin Diesel) and his seductress, played by Charlize Theron set inside the F, whilst the rest of the family which includes Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Michelle Rodriguez and villain turned good guy, Jason Statham set inside the 8.

This high-octane Fast and Furious 8 is being directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) who has decided to bring in some fresh faces with Theron playing the villain, Clint’s son, Scott Eastwood and Oscar-winning Helen Mirren – who has proved on many occasion she is not to be messed with on the action stage – who was announced via Beauty and the Beast’s Luke Evans (who played Statham’s brother in the previous films), to play Statham’s Mum.
